LIST OF ALL BIRTHDAYS FROM YOUR ADDRESS BOOK
Each time it’s launched, iDay automatically imports all the birthdays stored in your address book. You can also use iDay to create special manual entries, which means there’s no need to have a separate address book entry for your Aunt Gwen or dog Snoopy, even if you want to be reminded of their birthdays as well.
REMEMBER YOUR FIRST DATE AND ANNIVERSARY
Ensure you’ll always remember the anniversary of your first date with your husband or wife, as well as your wedding anniversary. You can also organize your children’s school holidays and vacation periods, and enter any other special days, including your own personal vacation times – basically any day or period you want to be reminded of.
LOTS OF USEFUL INFORMATION EVERY DAY
iDay’s summary page displays the applicable Zodiac sign for that day, as well as Chinese and Indian Horoscopes, the Celtic Tree Horoscope, and helpful links related to all of these features. You can also view the moon phase for the selected day, as well as the Saint associated with it. In addition, you can obtain facts about the date by following links to Wikipedia, and the daily calendars and “On This Day” sections of the New York Times and the BBC. Other links provide information on famous people born and historical events that took place on that day.
SEND BIRTHDAY E-MAILS TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY
Surprise your friends and family by sending them best wishes for their birthday directly from the App via phone calls, text messages, or a very special e-mail containing personal horoscope and other data, which is automatically composed by the summary page.

With release 3.0 iDay supports the Apple Push Notifications Service to push not only the updating of the badge once a day then also a message on a free definable hour for upcoming events on this day. Both without a need to start iDay. So you never will forget important days!
Pros and cons of iDay Deluxe app for iPhone and iPad
iDay Deluxe app good for
iOS 9.2.1 on iPhone with 3.800 address book entries. First start slow while building own database, thereafter very fast. My wishlist: jump to address book entry directly from list, apple watch integration.
Great app, I love how you can add birthdays not in your contact list. To make it better, add an events area, to put things like anniversarys, special days, etc. Also a minor fix: fix the spelling error, "favorites" not "favourites" And the edition to send a text or all from the contact and Id give this 5 stars.
This is the best birthday/event App I have found for the iPhone. iDay joines best functions found in other Apps into one App and adds other features on top.
If you want to manage birthdays, events or holidays all in one App then buy this. The best for me is the creating of birthday mails with all the sophisticated information of a special day. You canot be dissapointed.
@yo_2phone: are you sure you have used the same App? I use iDay for weeks and I have got no crashes and no problems.

Not only is this the best b-day, etc. program I have found, I started with one of the earliest versions and had a small issue with compatibility with one of the updates and I had the most amazing service direct from the programmer themself to resolve the issue. Unbelievable. If I got that kind of service in all my interactions I wouldnt know what to think. AMAZING! I highly recommend it.
This is a great little app to help you remember important days...and the BEST thing about it is that it uses your contact info as a primary source but you can still supplement the data without adding to your contacts!
I would like to see am improvement in the holidays. Right now you have to manually enter them all...it would be nice to be able to download or select a standard list? And then have the ability to delete ones you dont celebrate?
Also...theres a "contact" button on the top inside right, but it doesnt seem to work.
Id also like to see a help option or a way to contact the developers with feedback.
If the holiday default list were added Id give this 5 stars!

Very helpful application and the customer service is the best. I always receive a prompt, helpful response. There are several features Id like to see incorporated into future releases and the developer says they will be. I looked at several apps of the same kind, but this one seems to be the best for me. With OS3, I hope we can see some the native push notification put to some good use because I always seem to forget to check whos events are near. Looking forward to future releases!
Some bad moments
Suddenly Stopped working. Have reinstalled but no contact ir read by The application. I Have 4.000 contacts and The birthday list i empty!
App switched from English to German a while back and cant get it back to English. Otherwise its a pretty good app.
While inputting some b-days, the app froze the phone. I had to reset. Tried to use app again and it crashed my phone and I had to restore it. I am very disappointted by this app. I paid $5 to restore my phone. What I did see while using this app was ok and worth about 3 stars but the crash sent my rating to 1 star.
Cannot or add a single birthday. crashes every time you try. waste of money.
I was disappointed because it did not automaticly have holidays on this app. You had to enter each one and you couldnt put in holidays such as Thanksgiving, because that holiday does not fall on the same date every year.
Liked this program until everytime there is an update it changes the birthday dates on all entries. I got this app to keep track of these dates so it is a hassle to go and change them each time.
